The Great Lagoon

Leave Nouméa and enter one of the world’s great lagoon systems. Dive the reef, get the toys out and spend the afternoon surrounded by an almost unreasonable amount of blue.

Follow the reef and stop wherever conditions are best. Dive, fish beyond the reef or explore inside by tender before finding a remote anchorage for the night.

Cruise south to Île des Pins, where tall pines rise behind brilliant white beaches. Hike for the view, explore ashore or follow the coastline by tender.

Head into Baie d’Oro and its natural swimming pools. Snorkel, paddleboard and explore beyond the bay before returning onboard.

Go looking rather than going somewhere. Find a reef, a strip of white sand or a dive site and make that the destination for the day.

Spend the last full day diving, fishing, foiling and moving between anchorages. Out here, having a yacht opens up places you simply wouldn’t reach otherwise.

Take one last swim before turning towards Nouméa. After a week on the outer lagoon, the city feels surprisingly close.
